This is a limited edition print of the original painting made during the filming of episode 3 of BBC One's The Big Painting Challenge. The still life consisted of objects personal to me and were linked to the female line of my family, my links with fashion and textiles, love of colour, love of vintage (everything) and my constant awareness of the passing of time. The vintage hat in the painting caused great consternation with judge Lachlan Goudie at the time who own flamboyant style of dress did not extend to this one particular colour item!
